Originally from the South West of England, Nathan has over 10 years experience teaching English in Düsseldorf. He has taught General English to job seekers, as well as Business English courses at many companies in North Rhine Westphalia.
He has also taught Business English courses for a number of years at the University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule) Düsseldorf.
Nathan has a Bachelor’s degree in English language and Literature and is currently studying for a Masters degree in Applied Linguistics at Bonn University.

Toastmasters is a worldwide organisation with over 350,000 members which promotes communication and public speaking skills.
All our teachers train our skills in speaking and presenting as well as assessing skills by reviewing talks by other members.
Our sessions take place twice a month with the organisation in Düsseldorf.
AILA is the International Association of Applied Linguistics (Association Internationale de Linguistique Appliquée) founded in France in 1964.
AILA is an organisation made up of over 8000 members who research new theoretical and methodological frameworks to solve practical problems in language and communication. Our teachers are members of AILA who research new methodology in language teaching and learning.
There are several conferences held every
year which are attended by hundreds
of language researchers.
The Bonn Applied English Linguistics group is a community of lecturers and researchers who are heavily involved in research to find practical solutions to language problems.
Our team members are involved in this group sharing new insights and and discussing methodology.
The group is hosted by Bonn University where conferences are held annually. Bonn University is one of the leading universities in the world, ranked in the top 10 in Germany, and the top 100 best universities worldwide.
